
GANNON ELIZABETH JOHNSON practices in the areas of litigation, employment and labor law, creditors' rights and bankruptcy, and family law.
Ms. Johnson is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association and the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division. She also volunteers with the Ventura Unified School District, the Surfrider Foundation, and Relay for Life.
Ms. Johnson received her law degree from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law in May 2007. At graduation, she was awarded the Mary Collier Hitchcock Writing Prize for Outstanding Writing and the Don Sommers Prize in Professional Responsibility. Additionally, she was a member of the Dean's List.
During law school, Ms. Johnson served as Editor-in-Chief of the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy, Chief Justice of Phi Alpha Delta, Honor Council Investigator and Advocate, and as a mentor for the Washington University in St. Louis Pre-Law Society. Her student note, Thrice Victimized: Victims of Hurricane Katrina, Victims of Violent Crimes, and Victims of Apprendi, Blakely, and Booker, was published in 2007.
Following her graduation from Ventura High School in 2000, Ms. Johnson attended the University of California, San Diego. In 2004 she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with minors in Law & Society and Political Science.
Beyond the law, Ms. Johnson enjoys cooking, going to the beach, reading, wine-making, playing soccer, and spending time with family and friends.
