
MELISSA SAYER was admitted to the Bar in California in 1994. Her practice includes general corporate and business law, federal and state securities law compliance, as well as oil and gas and water related issues. She has experience in serving a variety of corporate clients in general business and securities matters, including entity formation, purchase and sale contracts, capital raising, and ownership and management succession planning. She also provides advice to agricultural clients in general business, real estate, oil and gas, and water-related issues.
Ms. Sayer is actively involved with agricultural and water-related issues through her work with the Association of Water Agencies and as a member of the Ventura County Farm Bureau and California Avocado Society. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Museum of Ventura County and is a member of the Museum's corporate committee.
Ms. Sayer is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association and State Bar of California.
Graduating first in her class at Santa Clara University School of Law, Ms. Sayer received American Jurisprudence Awards in real property, legal research & writing, criminal law, pleading & civil procedure, and torts.
Ms. Sayer and her family reside on their citrus and avocado ranch in Santa Paula.
