Seminar will focus on social media rules

THOUSAND OAKS — The National Association of Women Business Owners’ Ventura County chapter will hold a social media seminar from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday at Palm Garden Hotel, 495 N. Ventu Park Road, Thousand Oaks.

Karen Gabler, a partner at Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton LLC, will discuss workplace guidelines for employee use of social media, including blogs, forums and social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and WordPress.
