"Employment Law Update for 2011!" is scheduled from 7: 30 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at the Palm Garden Hotel, 495 North Ventu Park Road in Thousand Oaks. Jonathan Fraser Light, attorney with Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton LLP, will be the presenter.
Sponsored by The East Ventura County Employer Advisory Council, “Employment Law Update for 2011!” will cover all of the new employment law issues that arose in 2010 and will look ahead to 2011. Mr. Light will discuss new laws and recent cases on age discrimination, disabilities/reasonable accommodation/interactive dialogue, meal and rest breaks, medical marijuana, union organizing, and social media, along with other very important labor related issues. This is the last Employer Advisory Council program for this year.
