THOUSAND OAKS -- The East Ventura County Employer Advisory Council and attorney Karen L. Gabler of Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton LLP will offer a seminar on California leave of absence laws.

The event will focus on requirements of the state’s numerous leave of absence laws, including eligibility standards, documentation and reinstatement. It will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Palm Garden Hotel, 495 N. Ventu Park Road, Thousand Oaks.
