New board members are Melissa H. Sayer, George S. Leis and Mark Sellers.

"Our board members are a vital asset to VCEDA," says Bill Buratto, VCEDA president and CEO. "They are strong business leaders and are intent on creating a dynamic business base in our county."

Melissa H. Sayer is a partner with the Oxnard-based law firm of Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton LLP. She services small to mid-sized corporate clients in general business and securities matters. "VCEDA is the voice of Ventura County business," says Sayer. "As a board member, I hope to share the many benefits of VCEDA with the business community."

George S. Leis is president and COO of Pacific Capital Bancorp headquartered in Santa Barbara. The company provides consumer and commercial banking products, trust services, investment management, private banking and wealth planning and advice to customers in the Central Coast.
